"raining gold" is a record about my life and what i've felt, experienced and what i've been through during the last couple of years. the record is about dreams and visions and is very different from the ..woods-records. different because i don't like to repeat myself and i'm always trying not to do the same record twice. i'm trying to develop, improve myself and have some kind of progress. this record also differs in other ways.this is the first time i'm handling the vocals myself.great inspiration-sources has been bob dylan, john lennon, george harrison and nick cave. "raining gold" is about love. i've been trying to get some of my very personal feelings down into it. it was a very tough record to make, but in a way i sense that afterwards it feels like some kind of therapy actually having completed it. another thing that is very different from the ..woods-material is that on this record i wrote the lyrics first and the music afterwards. in the woods always did the opposite of that.
