transit

:Jan Kenneth Transeth

this engine never run hot. though packed with horsepowers and more valves than than an oilwell, transit cruises the countryside with such an ease you almost forget he's a machine: straying off the tracks as the free mind he is, inspired by the close and distant surroundings...

working to get this ideal label in a steady forward pace, as well as running a true underdog skate/grafitti boutique - this man is busy, but not stressed out. everything will just have to come in an order. expect some roaming music from the motion-man when moving hits the grooving.

artists note:

those of you who have been following our small evolutions on this, our little web-page, have probably noticed the rising (...and fall) of the "transit after midnight" - project. after we decided to quit itw, me and oddvar a : m did some talking about kicking off this new combo. however, none of us seemed over-eager to put it through, as nothing really happened. i continued writing my own material, while mister moi kept up with his. some of this can be heard on the promosampler...

these days, while we're arranging all the practical details on the label etc, i've been doing some thinking about how to deal with some of the songs i've written during the past years. i still want to record some of these songs and release them, and i'm pretty sure i'll do most of the work myself. the album will probably be recorded in different studios throughout this year, but there will be higher focus on doing a satisfying album than trying to release it "the sooner, the better". in other words it may take a while before it hits the stores... meanwhile, there will be a song or two added to the mp3 - section as the recordings are in progress. expect updates as transit is on the move again!
