Alice and the Mountain
Alice and the Mountain is Silje Kåfjord´s band project. The music is touching, beautiful and intense, in the landscape between pop, jazz and electronic music. Most Norwegians are familiar with Silje Kåfjord´s song “Like in A Dream” - the amazing soundtrack of a TV commercial for the Norwegian railway service, and the song “Hold Me”, the title song for the TV series “Schmokk”, played on NRK 1 (No 1 Norwegian Public Broadcast channel). The quality of these songs give you an idéa of what we´re all waiting for: Alice and the Mountain´s debut album, produced by and composed together with young composer Marius Christiansen. The album will be released in early spring 2013.
