(We worked with Honningbarna from 2009 till summer 2012, when they switched to EMI. With over twenty festival gigs this summer, Honningbarna (“the Honey Children”) are the Norwegian festival winners of 2012. The audience response on their shows has been overwhelming. Now, everyone knows who they are, what they stand for and everybody knows the band delivers one of the most spectacular live shows in the country. That’s because Honningbarna is a rock band which is actually saying something! From a rebellious youth perspective, the band crams their songs with sharp and accurate scolding sermons about the incomprehensible adult society. They adress Western double standards, state leaders cowardice, the lies and deception of the rich and powerful, profiteer treacherous warfare and much more. And they deliver it with the energy and rage only angry teenagers possess. Right now, Honningbarna is on everyone’s lips.
